Spain circa early 80’s birthed a unique take on disco by mixing traditional Spanish guitars, adding the smooth synths of 80’s yacht-world-italo and infusing it into the dance culture on the Ibiza islands. “Balearic” has seen a huge resurgence in dance culture via tastemakers everywhere due to it’s infinitely polymorphic nature. Imagine dancing to Giorgio Moroder who happens to have Paco De Lucia playing flamenco while Brian Eno produces and you have an inkling of what “Balearic” is all about. This design keeps the colors nice and bright just like the music and geography that birthed it.
